Classic Gymnastics was founded in 1995 with the mission of providing gymnastics instruction for all levels in a friendly, family environment. Over time, Classic grew to be one of the top gymnastics programs in the state. Classic became known as a place you could bring your child for a positive gymnastics experience.

Classic Gymnastics offers gymnastics programs for children of all levels and ages. We have Super Tot classes for the 18 month old, basic tumbling classes for all levels, training for the high school gymnast and everything in between! For those looking to compete in gymnastics, we have one of the top competitive programs in the state. We have a program that offers competition opportunities from entry level prep op to the Level 10 athlete looking for a college scholarship.

The programs at Classic Gymnastics are designed to bring out the best in your child. We strive to develop the athlete and the individual. Our staff will make sure your child has an experience that is positive and productive.

Facility Information
Classic Gymnastics facility is nearly 30,000 square feet. We have top of the line equipment and training methods to ensure the most up to date teaching techniques. Our facility and equipment undergo continuous safety inspections and maintenance. We have designed the facility to meet the needs of all age and level of student. My coaching experience includes all levels of athlete from preschoolers to National Team members.
In 2010, our coaching staff was the first in Minnesota to have an athlete score a 10.0 at Level 10. Athletes that make it all the way to level 10 in our team programs have an 80% success rate in acquiring full Division I scholarships. My staff has personally coached 50+ athletes to division I scholarships.
I have served and am currently serving on state, regional and national committees. Some of my coaching credentials are listed below.
• MN State Chair for USA Gymnastics Men's Gymnastics from 1987-1989.
• Women's Region IV Junior Olympic Chair from 1992-1997 and 2008 to present.
• Co-author to the 1997-2005 Women's Compulsory Routines.
• USA Gymnastics Region IV board member since 1992
• 2007 & 2009 Minnesota Coach of the Year.
• 2007 Spotter of the Year
• Regional and National Speaker for USA Gymnastics including the 2011 National Coaching Congress held in conjunction with the VISA Championships.
• Key presenter at the 1997 Compulsory Workshops in Reno and Rhode Island
• 2009 Minnesota Contributor of the year
• Co-author of the 2013-2021 Women’s compulsory routines
• Coached Numerous Level 10 National Champions including 2010 National Team member Amber See and 2010 level 9 Western AA Champion.

In my spare time I like to Golf, coach soccer, watch movies and spend time with my family. I also enjoy cooking and reading US history books. My wife, Tanya was a former gymnast and coach. We have two children who keep us busy. Alyssa is 13 and plays soccer, downhill ski's and texts her friends. Alyssa was formerly a gymnast but "retired" at age 9. Brandon is 9 and plays football, basketball, baseball and soccer. Brandon occasionally takes a gymnastics class to supplement his other sports.

Gymnastics and Coaching experience: Was a gymnast from age 3-15, finishing up my career as a Class 2 (Level 9 now). 15+ years of coaching experience, in which all of those years have been with Bryon and Aimee! I have coached all ages from beginner recreational kids to some of the top level 10 kids in the state. Including state championship teams, regional, western, and national competitors.
Education: 3 years of general education at Normandale Community College.
